Project Management
Procon is trained and disciplined in the fundamentals of project management. Our PM process includes eight (8) key management areas that we believe are critical to the overall success of any project:
- Personnel Management
- Scope Management
- Schedule/Time Management
- Cost/Budget Management
- Risk Management
- Quality Management
- Procurement Management
- Communication Management
Personnel Management
Our Personnel Management Process involves the commitment of an outstanding collection of individuals to provide superior support services, which allows us to assign the right personnel to the right tasks. Procon is committed to providing quality personnel, established personnel pools, appropriate training and certification for project personnel, and quick responsiveness to our client’s unique requirements
Scope Management:
Our Scope Management Process ensures that a project incorporates all work required to complete the task successfully including scope planning, definition, and verification and change control. As part of our process, we will identify all scope items in the format of a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) parallel with developing the project schedule and estimate.
Schedule/Time Management
Our Schedule/Time Management Process encompasses both program and project scheduling, which provides increased visibility to the project teams by presenting the inter-project dependencies across the program. This process keeps management executives informed on all issues affecting the project and will ensure timely completion of all tasks and milestones per the SOW.
Cost/Budget Management
Procon’s Cost/Budget Management Process includes resource planning, cost estimating, cost budgeting, and cost control. We will assist our clients in developing templates and reports to track all cost and budget-related items.
Risk Management
Procon’s Risk Management Process identifies, analyzes, and responds to risk factors throughout the life-cycle of a project. We believe that proper Risk Management implies the control of possible future events and is proactive rather than reactive.
Quality Management
Our Quality Management Process ensures the work performed under any contract satisfies our client’s requirements: policy, objectives, assurance/ control, audit, and plan.
Procurement Management
Procon’s Procurement Management Process ensures the proper procurement of goods and services. A strict process will be applied to the activities of procurement planning, solicitation planning, solicitation execution, source selection, contract administration, and contract closeout.
Communication Management
Procon’s Communication Management Process ensures timely and appropriate generation, collection, dissemination, storage, and ultimate disposition of project information. We work with our clients to develop processes for communication planning, information distribution, performance reporting, and administrative closure.
