Procon had the opportunity to stand alongside GSA and our partners at Jacobs for the formal groundbreaking of the $300M modernized Brownsville-Gateway Land Port of Entry: a transformation decades in the making.

This critical crossing, which opened nearly a century ago, is being reimagined into a state-of-the-art gateway. The project will introduce new and expanded processing lanes, upgraded facilities, and smarter infrastructure designed to improve efficiency, enhance security, and better serve the thousands who cross daily as part of their commute.

In partnership with GSA, Procon and Jacobs are helping transform this outdated port into a high-performing, future-ready facility. Construction is expected to span three years, with completion anticipated in late 2029.
