Ensuring capital projects deliver operationally usable data
As UC San Diego expands its campus through major developments—including the Ridge Walk North Living and Learning Neighborhood, Pepper Canyon West Living and Learning Neighborhood, and the Triton Center—Procon provides structured oversight of digital asset data to ensure facilities are ready for operations at turnover.
Rather than focusing solely on model delivery, Procon enforces data standards aligned with the university’s Transition to Operations (T2O) program. Our team verifies that asset information is accurate, complete, and formatted for integration into the university’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Procon reviews BIM Execution Plans and enforces asset data standards to ensure building systems are documented consistently and aligned with campus operational requirements.
OUR ROLE
Asset Data Governance & Standards
Procon developed the Owner’s Project Requirements and commissioning plan; conducted milestone design and construction reviews (including 65% and 95% phases); and maintained an active issues log to track resolution through project completion.
Turnover Validation & Data Quality Control
Our team verifies asset labeling, formatting, and completeness prior to turnover, ensuring maintenance data, equipment information, and documentation are structured for operational use.
CMMS Integration & Maintenance Enablement
Procon supports successful integration of asset data into UCSD’s CMMS, strengthening preventive maintenance planning, lifecycle tracking, and long-term facility stewardship.
