Procon has been awarded a contract to provide space planning and interior design services for the U.S. Trade and Development Agency offices in Arlington, Virginia. The USTDA helps companies create U.S. jobs through the export of U.S. goods and services for priority development projects in emerging economies. The project includes providing space utilization recommendations, design schematics and full design documents, as well as cost estimating and project management. The project entails creating new office and shared use space within existing facility space.

Procon will be providing business services support to the Office of Strategy and Policy for the Public Building Service in the National Capital Region of the U.S. General Services Administration. The office establishes and conducts pre-award review strategy, policy, and process in support of GSA acquisition activities. The Procon team will be providing management consulting, analysis, program evaluation, and database implementation and training.

As part of a workspace reconfiguration at the Census Bureau headquarters in Suitland, Maryland, Procon is providing Change Management services to Census as well as space planning services to the Bureau of Economic Analysis. The project consists of the relocation and reconfiguration of over 1,300 workspaces.

Procon has been tapped to provide program and project management for the implementation of new workspace standards for a sub-agency within the Department of Defense. The agency needs to transform its workspace configuration to improve collaboration, enhance productivity, update connectivity, reduce fixed costs and increase workspace equality. The current configuration of office cubicles provides little flexibility for growth or implementation of alternative workplace strategies in place. Consolidation plans will take advantage of more efficient space plans, flexible furniture solutions, and mobile work strategies and desk sharing. For the two-year project Procon will provide project coordination, scheduling, budgeting, and other construction management services.

Procon was awarded a contract by the U.S. Senate Sergeant at Arms to provide Program and Project Management services for its nationwide state office security program. The multi-year contract will provide the Sergeant at Arms with comprehensive construction management services to oversee upgrades to over 400 senate member offices in all 50 states. Procon will not only coordinate individual construction projects but will also develop and implement customized protocols to streamline the program to improve efficiency and quality and reduce risk and schedule delays. The Senate contract extends Procon’s profile on Capitol Hill where we are involved in an ongoing furniture and space planning contact with the U.S. House of Representatives.
